Deepest Point (Poem)
Deep within my Soul,
lies a great desire,
no words can console,
nothing can quench its dire.
The first time when I saw you,
it was love at first sight,
you're the limit to my purview,
to my darkness, the only light.
I realised I was lost,
drenched within my greed,
forlorn as I was,
I over-looked my needs.
A dream hard to resist,
is to live up to our dreams,
as long as love exists,
its the golden heart which gleams.
Above the earth so low,
lives the vast sky,
I still love my doe,
a mistake I regret yet retry.
Love is dumb, love is blind,
sometimes its confusing,
it's adventurous and kind,
and we fear losing.
There comes a fine day,
when everyone stumbles,
pitying on my heart so stray,
I just watch it break and crumble.
Still drenched in pain,
I can see hope as a glint,
though daunted by vain,
Hope lives in the darkest point!
