What You Mean to Me (Poem)
You're the apple to my pie,
the beat to my heart,
the clouds to my sky,
and the aim to my dart.
The princess to my castle,
the spirit to my game,
the relief to worldly hassle,
and the fame to my name.
You're the medicine when I'm down,
the activeness when I'm fine,
the jewels to my crown,
and the brightness to my shine!
You're the heat to my fire,
the frost to my ice,
the strength to my desire,
and the truth to my lies.
You are my priceless treasure,
the music to my song,
turning sadness into pleasure,
the righteousness to my wrong.
The liveliness to my memories,
the numbers to my maths,
the words to my stories,
and the light to my paths.
To my eyes you're the sight,
the tears in which they drench,
the luminescence to my light,
and the desire I can't quench.
You're the splendour to my smile,
the beauty to my face,
the success when I'm futile,
and the motivation in my race.
Still when you're far away,
I can feel the blood in your veins,
nights pass longer than days,
without you, my life is in vain.
For you, these songs I write,
and for you my heart sings,
for I can't let you out of my sight,
because you are my everything!

Sweet✨✨
