Dawn (Poem)
The day has passed; the sun has set,
And all the glinting stars are in the sky,
while the long grass with dew is wet,
and through the air the birds now fly.
And twinkling by; the fireflies pass,
and wet with all the gentle shower,
butterflies flit along the meadow grass,
tasting nectar from the beautiful flowers.
Silently touching the sky of heaven,
feeling its presence in my hands,
the golden sky's nothing like I've ever seen,
like the one of the heavenly lands!
The sunrise makes us smile,
the fleece clouded sky,
as I walk down the aisle,
your thoughts make me fly.
Bathed in bright light,
is the lovely green lawn,
a truly alluring sight,
is the fresh new dawn.
I love to see the blossoms,
and to hear the birds chirping,
because no time is as awesome,
as each new shiny morning.
