Friends (Poem)
This poem is truly dedicated,
to the ones whom I've loved,
and to those whom I've hated,
yet to remain eternal friends, I've vowed.
Friendship is always joyful,
the undeniable truth is sweet,
I found it firstly at my school,
even though we were discrete.
Unity remains in the soul,
yet sincerity in my mind,
differing physically, varying goals,
yet we're still of the same kind!
We can make a million friends,
like the sands on a shore,
but it would make no difference,
'cause friendship's not a game to score!
All my friends are special to me,
even if I'm not to them,
they're the best I'd ever see,
and as precious as a gem!
Friendship is truly a bliss,
it is a bestowed grace,
there's something I'll still miss,
and that's my School Days!
A tiny hug can transform,
holding hands can rejuvenate,
a smile can make us warm,
a kiss on the cheeks can resuscitate.
True friendship's very rare,
so never ever break it,
without one, life's hard to bear,
but you can neither fake it.
So whenever you're facing,
any doubt or a difficult time,
quit competing and racing,
your friends are the best helpline!
Friends are meant for caring,
we'll forget our studies one day,
but friends leave a bearing,
we can't forget them all the way!
This is the very best,
for my friends I can do,
I hope it keeps you all impressed,
my friends are none other than you!
