Dreams (Poem)
I just keep hoping,
but hopes never come true,
as my eyes start closing,
you come to my view.
If we could make wishes,
I’d wish you could me mine,
I’d forget the worldly riches
`cause love's something I can't define.
Standing on this splendid castle,
I can't bear the throne alone,
for the world is full of hassle,
and you're the one I want to own.
For sometimes we stumble,
and sometimes we fall,
success is for the humble,
for they never stand tall.
Life is full of burdens,
and the world's too cruel,
and love seems uncertain,
like the story which doesn't end well.
I wish I could be rich,
I wish I could be famous,
so that I'd never be ditched,
my life wouldn't be aimless.
Now I've got fire in my heart,
and hatred in my mind,
Yet I'm sincere to my art,
and desire to be kind.
And I shall still survive,
with all the strength I have,
waiting for my kingdom to arrive,
and all my sins to lave.
For the sun rises; the sun sets,
indebted our deeds remain,
it's me whom she still forgets,
all that remains with me is pain.
Sometimes we just need luck,
to keep rowing down the stream,
for someday I'll just wake up,
and find that life is just a dream.
