You and I (Poem)
I was miserable and all alone,
the sky was dark instead of blue,
as I walked the lane on my own,
until the day that I met you.
Amazed by your alluring beauty,
infatuated by your rare charm,
attracted me far from reality,
personality so pleasant and warm.
If I was your Superman,
then you'd be my Louis Lane,
If I was your Spiderman,
then you'd be my Mary Jane!
`cause you just make me, break me,
drive me crazy, amazing!
love me and just hate me,
dazed, leaves me gazing.
I'd just love you way more,
but I can't convince you enough,
when you walk out of the door,
life seems strenuous and too tough!
Studies provide me knowledge,
forgettable in a second's fraction,
but you just fill my heart's page,
for you're my satisfaction!
For you give me perfection,
and you bring out my laughter,
without you there is no fun,
you're the treasure so sought after.
Every drop forms an ocean,
but you alone complete me,
you're my only devotion,
without you there's no 'we'.
But when the times go bad,
and the world makes you cry,
together we'll stand, hand in hand,
as long as there's You and I.
